I wanted to love it

First, let me say the customer service, communication, and timeliness is fantastic. I've never ordered a custom dress before, much less online, so I didn't really know what questions to ask. Everything fits like a glove, so when you order give yourself the tinest bit of leeway on your measurements.
I fell in love with the skirt from this two-piece set for my wedding and ordered the set as pictured, except for the skirt color. The color swatches I received pictures of were so helpful, and the hot pink color I received was true to the picture I chose from which is amazing. The top however is disappointing. I ordered it to match the website picture, but I received a shiny satin version of it. The pictures are wide shots, however there isn't a shine to the fabric- the pictured top is matte and almost looks like cotton. The satin also makes the top look a little bulky. The skirt is fine, though the hem is marginally higher on the sides than the front and pack. I have time before my wedding to have the skirt altered, and I'll find another top.
I didn't contact Muse to ask about the top, because I mostly bought the set for the skirt. For the price and quick work, I'm not sorry I made the purchase, and I learned to be more proactive and ask more questions the next time I order something custom. It would be helpful if there was more information under the dress descriptions about the example fabrics and model size.
